Who we are... About Us

The Ellis Group was formed in May 2007 following the financial restructure of Ellis Building Maintenance into two divisions – Ellis Building and Ellis Flooring.

Ellis Building has provided reactive building services for the corporate, hospitality and leisure, health care and education markets since 1995.

The company has built a reputation for responsiveness, reliability and efficiency with its client portfolio of leading UK brands, including Whitbread plc, Premier Travel Inns, Bovis Homes Group plc, David Lloyd Leisure and NHS Primary Care Trusts.

Diversification into the safety flooring enables the company to capitalise on its existing skills and client base and allows expansion into new industry sectors.

Visitors to the showroom at our Sudbury office are welcome. Here you can view a wide range of safety flooring from the major manufacturers, including Altro Safetry Flooring Protective Resins and Flowcrete products, and discuss tailored solutions to meet your specific requirements.

Ellis Building also saw a need for expertise in the Infection Control field and set about training the team in all aspects of HTM64 regulation standards and now take pride in working with some of London’s Primary Care Trusts to ensure their premises meet those standards. Having completed a number of schemes we are keen to help other PCTs raise their premises standards accordingly.
